IMC AniMela Campus
In collaboration with Annecy International Animation Film Market (Mifa), IMC-AniMela Campus serves as a dedicated platform to discover and nurture the next generation of Indian animation talent. After two successful editions AniMela is once again proud to bring the International MIFA Campus to India. The programme offers mentorship to help creators develop their projects, sharpen their pitches and showcase their work to both national and international audiences.

The third edition of IMC - AniMela Campus Workshop will take place in Mumbai, February 16-20, 2026. During the five-day intensive workshop, renowned MIFA mentors will guide participants in a vibrant, stimulating environment to refine the artistic aspects of their existing projects and hand-hold each animator through rigorous training in the art of Pitching. The workshop is designed to provide tailor-made guidance to strengthen the creative core of each project and prepare each talent to present with clarity, confidence and impact. Additionally talents will also get insights from Indian Industry experts to develop production plans and investment strategies for the local industry. On the final day, Campus Talents will get the unique opportunity to pitch their projects to a curated audience of studios, producers, funders, collaborators and spirited fellow animators at the AniMela Festival in Mumbai.
From India to the World
Following the Mumbai workshop, Campus talents will continue to receive guidance through online sessions to strengthen their skills, engage with potential investors, and prepare them for the global stage. The training culminates at Namaste MIFA, June 23-26 2026 - an International showcase at Annecy, France where Campus Talents will get the unique opportunity to pitch their projects in front of influential global players and network with leading industry professionals and peers.

Brief History
Aniverse & Visual Arts Foundation(AVAF) brought the International MIFA Campus to India for the very first time, through its AniMela Festival in Mumbai in January 2024, with support from the French Institute in India (IFI).
The Campus first took shape through a collaboration with International MIFA Campus (Annecy Festival) which helped set the tone and ambition of the program. Over the past two editions of AniMela Festival, 10 Indian projects benefited from this exchange: creators refined their storytelling, practiced pitching in front of industry professionals, and built the confidence and connections needed to carry their ideas forward. This strong foundation has allowed AniMela Campus to grow into a program with its own distinctive identity while remaining deeply connected to the global animation industry.
