Aniverse & Visual Arts Foundation brought the International MIFA Campus to India for the very first time, through its AniMela Festival in Mumbai in January 2024, with support from the French Institute in India (IFI).
Aniverse & Visual Arts Foundation, in collaboration with MIFA Annecy, selected five most promising animation projects from India. These projects got to participate in a 4-day long extensive workshop in Mumbai in January 2024. The workshop was mentored by three experts (director, writer, producer) from Annecy International Animation Festival. The workshop participants received mentoring in developing the creative side of their projects as well as support to prepare the right pitch to promote their project to a professional international audience.
On the final day of the workshop, the participants had the opportunity to pitch their project to a curated audience of industry professionals (studios, producers, agents, funders) in Mumbai at the AniMela Pitch.
