Practical Information

Whistling Woods International is inside the Film City Complex, where visitors and guests can access the premises by vehicle and use available parking areas. Film City is used to welcoming guests, so getting in is generally smooth.

Free parking for people with disabilities

There are priority parking spots in the Whistling Woods International premises for people with limited mobility. Please visit the parking desk for more information. Please note that these spaces are also limited.

The venue is easily accessible by multiple modes of transport, even during peak and late hours.

  • Railway: The nearest railway station is Goregaon Station (Western Line), located approximately 15–25 minutes away (depending on traffic and last-mile connectivity).
  • Metro: The closest metro station is Aarey Metro Station (on Line 7 - Dahisar East to Gundavali/Andheri East), are convenient starting points, followed by a short cab/auto ride to Film City Complex.
  • Road Transport:  Public buses, auto-rickshaws, and app-based cabs (like Uber and Ola) are readily available, with direct access through Film City Road, Aarey Milk Colony, making road travel smooth and convenient.

The AneMela Festival is situated in Whistling Woods International Campus, Film City Complex, Goregaon East.

Wristband Collection Procedure

You can collect your wristband at the Registration Desk located at the AniMela Venue (Whistling Woods International Campus).

Please bring your e-ticket and a valid ID for verification.

 Terms of Access:

  • Wristbands/Badges must be worn at all times during the event.
  • No wristband = no entry.
  • Wristbands are non-transferable and must remain intact.
  • Please carry your Photo Identity Proof for easy access in Film City.
  • Re-entry is allowed only with valid wristband.
  • The wristband does not provide access to the Opening Ceremony.
  • Your wristband serves as your festival pass and must be worn at all times during the festival.
  • If you have purchased a 3-day pass, the wristband must be worn for the entire duration of the festival (3 days).
  • Wristbands cannot be removed, transferred, or shared.
  • To access any programme, please present your wristband at the entrance.

Seating

  • Seating is first come, first served, unless otherwise stated.
  • Saving seats for others is not permitted.
  • Some zones, workshops, or VR areas may have limited capacity.
  • Entry to certain activities may close once capacity is reached.
  • Standing in aisles or blocking exits is not allowed.

Gaming, VR & Activity Areas

  • Follow staff instructions in gaming zones, VR arenas, and workshop areas.
  • Respect equipment; intentional damage may result in removal.
  • Turn limits may apply to allow fair access for all attendees.
  • Festival rules and schedules will be posted on-site.

Conduct

  • Be respectful to staff, performers, and other attendees.
  • Disorderly behaviour, harassment, or violence will result in immediate removal.
  • Follow all instructions given by event staff and security.
  • The event organizer reserves the right to refuse service or entry.

Safety & Security

  • Bags may be subject to search upon entry.
  • Prohibited items include weapons, illegal substances, drugs, alcohol and drones.
  • Emergency exits must remain clear at all times.
  • Report any suspicious activity to event staff immediately.

Photography & Media

  • By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional use.
  • Flash photography may be prohibited.
  • Recording or live streaming may be restricted.

General

  • The event schedule is subject to change without notice.
  • The organizer is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Violation of rules may result in removal without refund.
